In this video, I'm excited to share with you my collagrpah sketchbook and how it's part of my creative process for coming up with ideas for my art. I've received many comments from you guys asking about my sketchbook, so I'm happy to finally show you what I've been up to.
As an artist, my sketchbook is a crucial tool for me to explore different concepts and ideas. For example, I often go back to my old paintings and make studies of particular bits that I liked. I also create custom acrylic ink and use them to make little sketches, collages, and mark-making designs.
One of my favorite exercises is using just two primary colors to mix with black and white to create a range of different shades. I play around with different compositions and color schemes until I find something that really catches my eye.
I've had a lot of fun putting this sketchbook together, and I hope it inspires you to create your own. Don't be afraid to experiment and play around with different materials and techniques.
